Can't Just Go Back to Fishing

The reason Christians today continue to believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is not only because of the empty tomb or even the many eyewitness testimonies of the resurrection appearances of the glorified Jesus. Just like with Mary, Jesus continues to call us by name, and when we are drawn to faith, Jesus changes the lives of those who believe in Him. This was true of the apostles who were changed from fearful men into bold preachers of the gospel willing to suffer and die for the risen Christ. (John 21.1-25) March 24, 2024.
