Obsessed with Spirituality but Unimpressed with Jesus

The trendy way of thinking in the ancient city of Colossae was for people to be obsessed with spirituality but rather unimpressed with Jesus. The culture in which we live today is not much different. And to our times, the apostle Paul wrote this letter to prevent us from becoming captives of our age, but rather to be obsessed with Jesus and unimpressed with spirituality.
