The Eternal Son

Who was that child wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger in Bethlehem so many years ago? The simple answer is “Baby Jesus,” but the writer of Hebrews, along with the angels, remind us that this child is the Son of God. The Scriptures teach us that the Son is both eternal and one with the Father and yet begotten by the Father? How can this be, and what difference does it make? (Hebrews 1.1-6) December 4, 2022
