The Law of Liberty

The first half of Leviticus answers the question, “How can sinners draw near to the presence of a holy God?” The second half answers the question, “Now that God’s people have drawn near to His presence, how then shall they live?” While there are a wide range of laws in these chapters, there is one section from Leviticus 19 that remains crucial to the church today. Not only is this where Jesus quotes the second greatest commandment from, but this is also the basis for how the apostle James instructs the church to fulfill the law of liberty.
