What is Life in the Spirit?

What exactly is “life in the Spirit”? Is it an emotion we feel during a worship service? Is it the expression of certain spiritual gifts? According to Romans 8, and Psalm 52, life in the Spirit is rooted in planting ourselves in His presence, trusting in His steadfast love, waiting for Him, and giving thanks to feed our faith.
